We asked local florists and event designers to turn to trends in fashion (color blocking, graphic patterns, and rock and roll) to inspire their arrangements. Today I'm sneaking in a peek of two of the bouquets we featured in the story. The arrangements compliment a vintage look. Think grandmother's broaches, antique lace, an heirloom gown, and maybe even a pillbox hat.
Stems of Dallas chose a colorful mix of ivory, peony, eucalpytus nut, veronica, geranium leaf, blush spray roses, ranunculus, ivory hydrangea, orange thistle, willow eucalyptus, ruffled-edge mondial roses, and amigo roses. Jackson Durham Floral Event Design put together a pretty collection of coral charm peonies, viburnum, and geranium leaves to pair with the darling Charlotte Olympia shoes, Jennifer Behr comb, and Nina Ricci clutch.
