Jessica first noticed Trey eating a hilariously large sandwich at a mutual friend's Sunday football watching party. The pair had bumped into one another a few weeks prior at a Baylor vs. TCU game, but this particular afternoon they hit it off. They spent the day joking about Jessica allowing Trey to rent her spare bedroom before setting an official first date.
Four years later, the couple took a romantic vacation to France. As they buzzed through the Paris streets on a red Vespa, they arrived at Trey's proposal destination. Not knowing that Jessica was a Sex and the City fan, he got down on one knee at the Pont des Arts Bridge (where Mr. Big and Carrie reunited in the series finale), also known as the Lovers Bridge because couples attach a lock there and toss the key into the river as a symbol of their commitment.
Jessica attended Baylor University, where she received her degree in psychology and is now a corporate recruiting manager for Genpact. Trey also attended Baylor University and then went on to receive his masters in Real Estate from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is now a transaction manager at Jones Lang LaSalle. The pair will wed on May 4th in Houston, Texas.
